Savage 2.5

Temporarily stealing a few rays of limelight from our as-yet-unborn daughter, i'd like to introduce the newest member of our familia to you, the reticent Void. This is Emily. She's a 3 yr. old Blue Merle Australian Cattle Dog. we found her at the animal shelter a few days ago, and she graciously deigned join our li'l circus troupe. we took her out to see how she'd be with the kiddoes, and they immediately fell in love with her, shortly whereafter Annie dubbed her "Emily." This is good because it keeps us from feeling the need to name our child Emily or Emma. Annie's had an obsession with the name for three years or so, both kids have stuffed dogs named Emma, Annie's got a couple of dolls named Emily, and she's recently taken to calling everything in our house Emily. Don't know if she picked it up from the Thompson's kid or from the character in "Clifford the Big Red Dog," but hopefully this'll get it outta her system ('cuz i'm tired of being called Emily).






At any rate, she's about the sweetest dog i've ever met, she's super chill, and she gives us a nice round number of children without Steph having to bear any more, and without the impending college tuition.
